Can somebody give me instructions for a treatment for frizzy, dry hair that i can do at home?

I'm half asian so I have black hair that i highlighted about half a year ago (the highlights are pretty faded) and every since i highlighted it it has been very frizzy and puffy.... I usually put it in a ponytail while it is drying to try keep the frizz and volume down, but i still have flyaways all over the place! I want some treatment like a hot oil massage or one of those ';hair mask'; things with yogurt and lemon juice and such (by the way, I have NO idea how to do those things so you'll have to be precise!), or perhaps someone can recommend some good styling products for frizzy hair? Ones that actually work? Thanks so much! Can somebody give me instructions for a treatment for frizzy, dry hair that i can do at home?
Do a moisturizing treatment as often as 3 times a week to once a week. I usually put some mayonaise in my hair and leave it for 20 minutes and wash it thoroughly like, 3 times to get all the extra oil out.

Or heat up 1/2 cup of olive oil or less (depending on your hair length) in the microwave for about 20-30 seconds. Test the heat, and if it's not too hot for your hair, pour it on or use a painter brush to get it through your hair. Use a wide tooth comb if needed to distribute evenly.

Hair Masks: L'Oreal Vive - the best. Follow instructions to the letter :)

The best styling product is JOhn Frieda's Frizz-Ease. Start with a dime-sized blob through the top layers and where the frizz is. You can always add more later. It's harder to take away oil than to add.

Well, hope I helped. Can somebody give me instructions for a treatment for frizzy, dry hair that i can do at home?
I swear by Infusium leave in conditioner. They have a special formula for frizz.
after you wash your hair with shampoo take a good conditioner and leave it in your hair for about 4 min. and then rinse it out. buy some leave in conditioner for when your out of the shower. it will take it a week or so but you will see inprovment.
Aussi! :)
Your asian! Asians have the perfect hair. It has all the cortexs. You should never have a problem with frizzy hair. Youre doing something wrong in your daily hair care regimen. Treatments will only last for a while. They wont fix the problem, they will mask it. Find out what your doing wrong.

In the mean time Pantene Pro-V is the best for treatments. Im black I use ThermaSilk Conditioner. Try it.

okay this is goin to sound REALLY nasty, but try ';soaking'; ur hair in mayonaise, just lik eput it all in there and then put it in like a shower cap and let it soak over night. it should be all silky by the next day... also when u shampoo and stuff

dont shampoo everyday, and condition your whole head and let the conditioner soak for aobut a minute-2 minutes then rinse it out. and also dont use too many things that damage ur hair like durling irons, straighteners, blow dryers, etc.
i'm half asian too, and i have the exact same problem!!! lol. what i use is sunsilk shampoo, conditioner, and 24/7 creme (anti-poof or de-frizz, both work great), then if i feel up to it, i blow dry it with a flat brush, or otherwise i wait for it to dry then straighten it. some advice maybe: i usually wear one of those cowboy hats, but not so big after i've put the 24/7 creme or john frieda simply sleek straightening balm in. yes, it does look ridiculous, but especially on nights that i have to go to sleep with wet hair, it is a lifesaver! otherwise, i used to do the hairtie thing too, and it was pretty good for me (i can't do that technique for now, cause my hairs too short!) also, to make your hair really shiny, (yes it sounds icky) but put mayo in your hair for 10-20 minutes then make sure to wash it out thoroughly. : )

good luck!
use anti frizz serum
try using VO5 hot oil treatments.....its worked for me....another thing I do is I use this stuff that makes your hair shine, and it also tames the frizz....I use Paul Mitchell, but you can get very similar products at wal-mart.

I also use Infuzium leave in conditioner!
i have really frizy curly/wavy hair, and the best i have found for that solution is a good conditioner ( DOVE is the best yet ) leave in for like 3-5 mins ( depending on your hair length ) a straightener works great!! you might want to try the V05 straightening spray ( u can get at wal-mart for like $3) ....but dont use V05 shampoo and conditioner- it will fry your hair faster. Frizz-ease, did not work for me, it made me hair greasy. after straightening it, then spray, maybe even a ligt shine spray afterwards. good luck
