My daughter is bi racial, and her hair is very very dry. It does not grow around the hair line. I have tried the pink lotion and other similar products but nothing works. Stop washing her hair with shampoo; it's drying her hair out. Wash it only with conditioner, and also use leave in conditioner. Other than that limited advice, I recommend you join some forums for black hair care and learn from the pros.
