Is it better to dry hair with a hair dryer or air dry it naturally?

I get better results with a hair drier [fuller, more volume, straighter] but I hear hair dryers may be damaging my hair. What gives better results/healthier?Is it better to dry hair with a hair dryer or air dry it naturally?
Hairdryers are damaging, but for most styling it's necessary. If you want your hair to be healthier while still blowdrying...

1. Invest in an ionic hair dryer. They cost just as much as regular dryers (unless you get an expensive brand of course), and they lock moisture in your hair instead of drying it out. Can prevent split ends and other heat damage.

2. Apply a heat styling protective gel/cream/spray in your hair when it's damp before you style it. It protects against heat styling damage and makes your hair soft and shiny. Good luck!Is it better to dry hair with a hair dryer or air dry it naturally?
hair dryers are good but they do damage your hair when using all the time. it tends to cause heat damage and dries hair out
natural... hair dryer dries out the hair %26amp; makes it unhealthy %26amp; you can straighten your hair after :)
Drying the hair naturally is the best as the heat from the hair dryers can damage the hair and your scalp. However hairdryer is inevitable for people with sinus problems.
hair drier gives better results

but letting it dry naturally is healthier of course

hair drier damages your hair because of the heat
Long term use of a hairdryer is hard on your hair, if you can, maybe save that for special nights out!
Air dry... Coz if you use hairdryers, it may take away your natural hair oils... or sometimes dries up your hair too much [if you know what i mean] and damage it... And if you use it too much, it'll cause split ends or something...

So i'm guessing air drying it is better... [=
It's always best to air dry hair. But if needed blow dry with settings on the lowest and coldest. It is best to have a negative ion hair dryer, it locks in your hairs moisture

Also, if you like the results of using a blow dryer, try using a heat protector. They sell great ones at salons, you can look through brands at www.folica.com I recommend Sedu
letting air dry is so much healthier but if you must blow dry use a heat protectant. go to any salon and ask for a thermal heat protectant and use that before drying I use a mixture of redken heat glide and redken anti snap
naturally ma! too much heat makes hair dry and breaks easily u will definitely have a healthier hair drying naturally
well it is DEF healthier 2 air/towel dry.......

bc the blow dryer rlly fries ppl's hair. whenu want that volume, u can blow dry. but not 2 often.. and for the straightness, get a straightener!
Naturally.... because the heat of the hair dryer breaks and sometimes dryes out your hair.
