My mom has really dry/coarse hair that when you touch it it feels almost like straw! I already bought her shampoo and conditioner for it but is there anything else i could buy her so that her hair is soft and shiny? Hopefully nothing too pricey i can get at walmart. NONE! Those products are cheaply made. They will strip your hair further and add a layer of wax to the outside of the hair shaft. Salon quality shampoo is a better product, because of this you don't have to use nearly as much. Salon shampoo lasts twice as long because of this, so it doesn't actually cost that much more, and it is worth it to repair your hair.
