Dry hair ?

okay my ends are getting trimmed today, so i know that that will help to make my dryish hair shinier. I also use tcb conditioning spray in the morning to help hydrate my hair. Are there any other things I can do? Cause I know that when I straighten it, even using the best flat iron, and products can't cover dryness.Dry hair ?

before you straighten your hair, spray Tressemme heat protectant spray on your hair. that will help protect hair. then use aussie most shampoo and conditioner. also try any moisturizing conditioner that looks like it would work.
use aussie 3 minute miracle worker! Its the BESST! and so is the aussie moist collection!

I swear youll feel a difference! ;)
Ok, NUMBER ONE RULE

for getting rid of dry hair!!

(anyone reading my response can also learn this very important lesson!!!)

DO NOT shampoo your hair with a shampoo that contains SODIUM.

Do me a favor.

Go to your bathroom and look at the products you are using for shampoos in your hair. Look at the label on the back. And see if there are any sodium ingredients listed. If so, this means that your hair is being stripped from:

1. Moisture.

2. Proteins.

3. Color (if your hair is colored)

Therefore, these brands cleverly require you to buy a conditioner to undo the damage the shampoo does while cleansing your hair.

Do not use aussie.

Do not use sunsilk.

Do not use tressemme.

(a few of the answers I just saw)

Use products that are PLANT based.

I highly recommend Aveda.

Try Aveda Smooth Infusion.

It is so hydrating you dont even really need a conditioner.

Then, use a heat protective lotion before you flat iron.

Try Aveda Hang Straight.

Even Bed Head makes a good straightening lotion.

It's a bit more pricey.

But if you care about you

and you care about your hair

and you want it to be pretty, shiny, healthy, soft, smooth

Use Aveda. (or any other product that is plant based)
also, alot of people would say to stay away from heat styling, i say differnet. you can heat style as long as you generously condition your hair everytime you shampoo, and use a spray that protects your hair from heat.

use a moisturizing conditioner for your dry hair. this will also make your hair soft, silky, and shiny. i would recomend using tresemme remoisturizing conditioner($3 store-wide).

and before you heat style, use a spray that protects your hair from the heat. i used sunsilk (purple kind) thermashine detangling spray ($3 store-wide). it detangles, adds tons of shine, and it protects your hair from the heat due to heat styling.

i swear, i saw differences in just the first use.

good luck!

10 points?
if ur hairs r dry than u should use a hair cream. i sometimes use hair food and oil, which is really helpful
idk, im srry. but maybe u can use gel it makes it shine for me. Or ask the hair cutting place wat to do, but dont buy from them ithey might be a lot. Good Luck!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
#1- Try to avoid using the straightener, this is a biggie. Straighteners are very damaging, and you should only do so once a week. Give your hair a rest, and you will see results.

Shampoo %26amp; condition hair when in the shower, and once a week, use a conditioning hair mask on your hair. Helps as well.

Use a leave- in conditioner when you get out of the shower. This helps to hydrate your hair.

When you straighten your hair, use a heat- activated hair serum!! This helps minimize SOME of the damage from the heat.

Hope these tips helped, Good Luck!!
