when i straighten my hair i get a bunch of split ends and stuff, but i dont want to stop straightening it.
Anyone know how to hydrate it?Dry hair!!!!?
MY ROUTINE:
1. use only salon shampoo/conditioner Paul Mitchell ';Moisture'; is very good. I sometimes change conditioners to Matrix ';Sleek.Look';-smoothing system. (if you catch a good sale sometimes the 1liter is only $10-At TradeSecrets).
2. Use leave in conditioner, I use Paul Mitchell ';The Conditioner';.
3. At same time when putting on Leave in Conditioner use Paul Mitchell ';Smoothing';-Super Skinny Serum(smooths %26amp; condition).
4. Paul Mitchell ';Softstyle';-Heat Seal, this one is very important!! This humidity resistant spray helps prevent damage from blow dryers and irons!!
5. After you flat iron, use a hair cuticle serum. It seals the outer layer of the hair shaft. Gives it a nice shine. You only need a few drops of this.
You don't have to always use Paul Mitchell..I change it up every so often. I know its a lot of steps, but its the price you have to pay for Flat Iron...
But right now you need a trim ASAP. Have Fun...Dry hair!!!!?
First of all, you shouldn't wash your hair every day. I am not sure if you do this but just so you know the natural oils will get washed out and your hair will become dry. So minimize to washing it every third or fourth day. Also, when washing, don't apply shampoo anywhere else except your scalp. Let the suds run to the ends when you are rinsing out the shampoo.Applying olive oil to your hair will hydrate it a little bit also. Hope this helps!
Aloe Vera,is a good remedy for dry hair. You can use the one readily available or the fresh one. It is obtained from the leaves of the Aloe Vera plant. Break the leaf and squeeze out the liquid inside, apply this liquid to your scalp, keep for about an hour and wash it off . Check out http://solutionsfordryhair.blogspot.com/ for more info on dry hair.
Your hair will continue to be dry and split as long as you are using high heat on it.
