My hair is about an inch above my shoulders, so I cannot put it up anymore. I have to flat iron it every day because of that. There are usually one or two days a week that I scrunch it, which requires waking up about 30 minutes earlier to take a shower. Since I straighten my hair so much, it has gotten very dry and is beginning to break. What cheap and easy way could I get it to be soft and smooth again and still have my normal hair routine? What could I do to fix my dry hair problem?

Well, try to not wash it every day. Since you said that it was really dry, try to just wash it every other day, and you could put hair serum which will also make it shiny, but it won't look dirty. Often, you should do a good conditioning by washing your hair then putting a lot of conditioner, and putting a bag over it. Leave it for about 15 minutes and rinse it. I hope this helps
well make sure you use conditioner, use heat protection when straightening, and try to use less chemicals in your hair.since when you scrunch it you have to use hairspray, mousse, and everything;ask a hairdresser for advice
get some coconut oil or a treatment with coconut in it its moisture intense
Wash and Condition your hair once a week.
Use a dime size of oil moisturizer daily.
That will work.
Hope I helped!
