How do you remove dry hair dye from skin?

Its been there for one day already, how do I remove it?How do you remove dry hair dye from skin?
If I ever mess some dye on my forehead after dying or whatever. I usually take some nail polish (cutex) remover and apply it with some cotton wool and rub it over the dye. The more you rub, the lighter it will become. After wards, make sure you rinse and apply some moisturizer.How do you remove dry hair dye from skin?
Believe it or not I have heard that ashes from a cigarette will remove this.To prevent this in the future,if your dying your hair at home,use the conditioner that they supply with the kit and put it around your hairline.

Try Petrolium Jelly (vaseline) Put it on and then whipe off with a damp bit of cotton wool... Hope it works :)
A cotton wool bud dipped in vinegar. Nail varnish remover is good too.
